Walter Junior Hack, 85 of Caneyville, passed away Friday, November 17th, 2017 at the Norton Hospital in Louisville. 

 

He was born on Saturday, July 23rd, 1932 in Round Hill, the son of the late James W and Ruby Jane (Hudson) Hack. He attended the Old Decker Church. Junior also loved old cars.    

 

 

He is survived by his five sons, Jimmy Hack (Robin) of Caneyville, Timmy Hack of Oak Ridge, Michael Hack (Melinda) of Morgantown, Chris Hack of Leitchfield and Tracy Hack (Kayla) of Morgantown; six daughters, Lois Rogers (Bill) of Leitchfield, Angela Phelps of Morgantown, Kathy Hack of Union Star, Teresa Newton of Millwood, Wanda Allen (Mark) of Cecilia and Diana Bruner (Frankie) of Custer and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his infant son, Roger Dale Hack; his infant daughter, Rhonda Hack and three sisters, Hattie Woodcock, Juanita Alford and Alma Embry.

 

 

Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 21st at 1:00 pm at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro Roy Smith will be officiating. Burial will be in the Woodcock Cemetery.

 

 

Friends may call at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville Monday after 2:00 pm and Tuesday from 9:00 am until time of service.
